This art zine is a collection of works by Shada Mohammad, a young woman from Deir al Balah, Palestine. When Shada’s home was destroyed in an airstrike, she managed to rescue her art supplies. Amidst the destruction, she continues to create. Her artwork is the visual expression of a daily choice to hope, a disciplined commitment to survival. The Zine is 8.5” by 5.5”, 16 pages, full color, printed on #32 art quality paper. It features 14 pieces of original artwork by Shada Mohammad. Prose, poetry, and quotes are offered in English and in Arabic with English translations.
